Overcoming Weakness

Normally in this section of your Morning Feed we provide for you food, nutrition and physical health tips based on our research from subject matter experts. Today, the subject matter comes from point number 10 in your "Instructions to follow over the next 40 Days - your TRIP (Temple Renovation in Progress)" that we provided to you with your Membership: Pray to the Lord to sustain you in your weakness.

We hope at this point of your TRIP that your body is adjusting and you are physically feeling better. Your body has adjusted and is now burning those stored up calories for fuel. However, being subject matter experts of the TRIP program, we know that you have and will still find days that you are physically weak and can become emotionally empty. You will feel like this program is taking too long and that you just need to have some time to eat and live like you used to do.

We can tell you that the only way to get through those days without going off track is to turn to God in prayer. Go to Him and be specific with your struggles. Do not think that your weight loss and health is trivial compared to other life problems that you and other people face. Do not make an excuse that your health is not important enough or that God is too busy for this. Do not minimize God's care, compassion and power to sustain you in your weakness.

Your prayer to God needs to be personal from you to Him. That said, we found a resource called "21 Prayers to Say for Weight Loss". This will provide you with prayers that other people have written to God being specific about their struggles and asking for His help to sustain them and to make them into the healthy people that He has created them to be.

You are being transformed by God to be who He has planned for you to be. We all find ourselves broken and need to place ourselves willingly into His hands. God will be there for you.
