What is good?
Good is a value of moral excellence or desired quality assigned to something or someone based on a judgment. Whose judgment? Who is to say what is good?
We all make determinations, judgements, throughout our day. Some are minor and some are major. Are you and I qualified to make these decisions? Are the standards that we use to make decisions something we invented? Are your standards the same as other people's standards?
God created all people in His image and by doing so, He placed His moral standards in each of us. His moral standard gives each person the ability to understand right and wrong. It is our own fleshly desire that distorts God's standard of moral excellence into our selfish justification to change the value of something that is bad to good and vice versa.
We live in a world today in which we have been manipulated by years of our own desires, those of people around us and those of the world society. In order to truly determine what is good, we must go to the Source of all good. We must stop using flawed people as the authority and place God back at the top of our decision process.
Join me today and make a conscious decision to go to God with each decision you make related to good. God creates, determines and desires all good for you. God is the only One that is good and we are blessed by Him.
GOD IS GOOD
God is righteous. God's goodness is seen in His love and faithfulness. God is good to all people. He blesses each person with His moral standards and provides grace, mercy and salvation to all people so that they can be righteous.
God satisfies our needs and caringly provides for us when we seek His help in our lives. God is compassionate. For all that trust in Him, God works all things together for our good.
