“And We’re Walking …”

Have you ever been to a place of interest like a museum or nature tour that there is a guide that is giving you directions and insight to all that you are seeing and experiencing? These types of tours can be very enlightening and great experiences when you have two things that happen.

First, you must have a good guide. Your guide should be the expert of the place and the items you are learning about. Your guide needs to the best path to get from the beginning to the end of the tour without someone becoming lost or placed in danger. Your guide should be able to respond quickly to questions you may have, be able to keep track of the entire group of people that are with you and be able to bring you back on course when you experience times of confusion and obstacles that may be in the way. Your guide's job is to make sure that by the end of the tour you have arrived safely and more knowledgeable than when the tour began.

Of course then, the second thing you must have to experience a great tour is to be a good follower. You are to be an attentive listener. You are to stay on the path following the guide. You are to not say or do anything to cause others to be lead astray. You are to do everything that the good guide is instructing you to do.

So then, as we all are in this world together, let's turn our attention to our Guide and follow Him so that we can experience all He has for us.

GOD IS OUR GUIDE

God is the only One qualified and capable of being The Guide of all. God has complete knowledge of His plan, His creation and His path to lead us into His kingdom; His eternal presence.

God's love, care and strength are unmatched. It is His desire to protects us against the evil that currently exist. God alone leads us along the path of His blessings.

God the Father sends God the Holy Spirit to guide all His chosen people that have received God the Son, Christ Jesus, as their personal Savior. God the Holy Spirit guides you today on a path to become holy as God is holy. It is when we choose to follow The Guide that we travel towards God's intended destination for us all.

Psalm 23:1-3 NIV

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for His name's sake.

John 16:13-16 NIV

But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak of His own; He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come. He will glorify Me because it is from Me that He will receive what He will make known to you. All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from Me what He will make known to you.

Psalm 139:23-24 NIV

Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.
