In the Beginning
God is awesome! God is so loving! God is holy! God can be difficult to understand. God's ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. God gives us free will to choose Him. God has given us His Word, the Holy Bible, to teach us about who He is, who we are and what His plan is for all.
As you start your Temple Renovation In Progress (TRIP), it is first and most important to learn about your Creator. We will use the Bible and other reputable resources provided by Biblical Scholars to teach us the attributes of God. Please be sure to read and meditate on the Bible verses and devotion each day so that you may begin to understand Who God is and His plan for you.
GOD IS THE CREATOR
For anything to exist, it must be created. To have a creation, it must have a Creator. God created everything by Him, through Him and for Him. God even created time! He was before there was a was! God created everything that is from the microscopic to vastness of the universe and everything that is in it. God has created both the physical and spiritual worlds and all of their inhabitants. He created all of this with just His Words. His power and design are unmatched.
God is complete and needs nothing outside of Himself. There is nothing that His creation can offer to Him that He needs. So then, why did He create at all? The Bible explains that it is His desire to have a loving relationship with us and that He created everything to do that.
Take some time to read Genesis 1 today and notice how thoughtful God is by creating the perfect environment for us to exist in before He created us. One of things you will start to see is that God loves you so much that He provides for all of your needs before you need them. Your Creator knows everything you need. All He wants in return is that you choose to love Him back.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Genesis 1:26-27 NIV
Then God said, "Let us make mankind in Our image, in Our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground". So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God He created them; male and female He created them.

For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
John 1:1-5 NIV
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of all men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.
